
Théo cracks eggs while his best friend deflowers his (alleged) twin sister on the kitchen floor. It should also be noted that Théo is the one who (forgive me) egged them on. At the climax, the sirens from the 1968 Paris riots outside on the streets get louder. Much louder.
In the next scene, Bertolucci walks into frame, sits down, and just tells the audience what the rest of the film is about.
